Instructor Biography
Cami Burrow
Cami Burrow began her journey in healthcare at New Market Skills Center in 2003, starting with the Nursing Assistant program. After completing the program, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 10 years, gaining invaluable experience in patient care. Growing up in the Tumwater-Tenino area, she has deep roots in the local community.
In 2012, Cami pursued further education at South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC), where she earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree along with their Medical Assisting certificate. After graduation, in 2014, she fulfilled a major career milestone by joining Providence. She worked at providence for 10 years in several different clinics, family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Oncology/ Hematology.
As the mother of two boys, ages 15 and 7, balancing family and a fulfilling career has always been a priority. Throughout her professional journey, one of Cami's long-standing goals has been to transition into teaching, sharing her passion for healthcare and supporting the next generation of Medical Assistants. This dream has come to life through her role at New Market Skills Center, where she is dedicated to guiding students in their own medical careers.
