Cosmetology-New Market School of Cosmetology
New Market School of Cosmetology is dedicated to teaching the techniques of cosmetology while building community relationships that allow students to reach their highest potential through hands-on experience. Students are instructed on current styles, trends, and creative techniques in the art of beauty and industry preparedness.
This is a 21-month commitment.
First-year students may attend either AM or PM session, must attend 1 Saturday a month, and can utilize their school's regular New Market transportation.
Students who are selected into the 2nd year program, will be required to attend the Cosmetology summer school session (M-F 8:00-4:30pm) up to 280 hours, that will be completed after their first year.
Second-year students are required to be in PM session (11:10 to 1:40) and 3rd session (1:45 to 4:15) for the second year. Second-year students must attend 2 Saturdays a month.
Saturday hours are from 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Students will need their own transportation home during their second year after the 3rd session.
