Cosmetology-Centralia
Program Description: Centralia Beauty College is more than a beauty school; they are a business dedicated to teaching the techniques of cosmetology while building community relationships that allow students to reach their highest potential through hands-on experience. Students are instructed on current styles, trends, and creative techniques in the art of beauty and industry preparedness.
Cosmetology session runs Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 8:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, with Saturday attendance mandatory.
Please Note: This is a 15 to 18 month commitment. Students must have their own transportation as this is an off-site program. It is strongly recommended that students are at least 16 years of age and a Junior or Senior in high school. Start Dates: October 24, December 5, January 24, March 26, May 21, and June 25
High School Equivalency Credits: Students earn 3.0 credits per year allocated as 1.0 Lab Science, 2.0 Career Technical Education/Elective. See how these credits satisfy graduation requirements in the Program of Study.
College Credits: Credits available through Clover Park Technical College: up to 19 credits
Students who successfully complete the program and meet the college grading requirements, will be eligible to apply.
Certifications: This program provides 1600 hours necessary to take the Washington State Board Exam for certification ($31 for testing and $35 for license).
