Collision Repair Technology
Students learn vehicle construction, minor body repair, sanding, painting components and spraying techniques, plastic repair, estimating damaged vehicles, MIG welding, and many other operations related to vehicle repair. Safety and proper use of equipment and materials are stressed throughout this program. Students are involved in SkillsUSA leadership activities and skills competitions which emphasize teamwork and cooperation. The program includes use of I-CAR, Axalta Paint Products, Chief, Hunter, and other professional training materials to meet Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (ASEEF) and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) requirements, standards and certifications.
