Barbering
Students prepare to become a licensed barber while learning clipper techniques, barber theory, basic and advanced techniques, styling, razor shaving, and more! This class is also committed to building relationships that allow students to reach their highest potential through hands-on experience. Successful students will be prepared to test for their state license.
This course is a commitment of 21 months of instruction to complete the necessary hours to take the Washington State Department of Licensing written and practical examinations for licensure.
Students must start in September and attend our AM session (11:10 - 1:40) only and must attend 1 Saturday a month. Saturday hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Students who are selected into the 2nd year program, will be required to attend our summer school session (dates & times TBD) up to 280 hours, that will be completed after their first year.
Second-year students are required to be in the AM session (7:50 - 10:20am) for the second year. Second-year students must attend 1 Saturday a month.
