Automotive Service Technology
Preparing students to engage in the specialized service and maintenance of all types of vehicles. Learn how to properly diagnose malfunctions, adjust, repair, and replace parts. Taught by an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Master Technician in an Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation (ASEEF) certified training facility, students are prepared to enter the workforce right out of high school while also preparing for advanced training and certification.
This is a one or two-year program. The rotating academic schedule teaches 4 of the 8 ASE certification areas each year: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Steering and Suspension, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance and Driveability for the 2024-2025 school year and Manual Transmission/Transaxle, Brakes, Electrical and Engine Mechanical for the 2025-2026 school year.
