Enrollment

New Market Skills Center (NMSC) serves high school juniors and seniors from over 25 area high schools, in more than 11 school districts.  NMSC provides advanced-level career and technical programs based on rigorous academic and industry standards preparing high school students for post-secondary education, apprenticeship, or entrance into the workforce.  NMSC courses are tuition-free. The only exception is our Cosmetology programs.  For specific information about our programs, please click our Programs link. There are two sessions* each day at NMSC.

First Session: 7:50 am - 10:20 am

Second Session: 11:10 - 1:40 pm

Students attend half of the day at their home high school and half the day at NMSC.  We work with high school counselors to determine the best fit for each student's class schedule.  Transportation is provided by the sending school district.*

*The Centralia Cosmetology program is off-site and operates Tuesday through Friday 12:00 - 5:00 PM and Saturdays 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.  Students must provide their own transportation.  For more detailed information, go to the program page.
